Our organization holds monthly Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Q&A meetups to provide a platform for our members to learn and share their knowledge. It also serves as a valuable networking opportunity. Members from various industries and backgrounds come together to discuss common HSE challenges and share their experiences in addressing them.
Our team of experienced HSE professionals moderates these meetings and provides valuable insights and recommendations on various HSE topics. This includes discussions on safety leadership, hazard identification and risk assessment, safety management systems, emergency response planning, and environmental management.
Apart from hosting experts in the field, we also invite guest speakers to our meetups who share their experiences and expertise on HSE topics. This provides an opportunity for our members to learn about best practices in other industries and gain new insights that they can apply to their own workplaces.

Education and Workshop Programmes
Our education and workshop programmes are designed to cater to the diverse needs of our members. We offer a range of workshops and training programmes on various HSE topics. These programmes are tailored to different levels of expertise, from beginner to advanced, and provide our members with the necessary tools and knowledge to implement HSE best practices in their workplaces.
We understand that language can be a barrier to accessing educational opportunities. Therefore, we offer our programmes in multiple languages to ensure that all members can participate and benefit from the educational opportunities we provide. Our goal is to make sure that language is never a barrier to learning about HSE principles and practices.
We also understand that not all of our members can attend in-person workshops and training sessions. To address this, we provide online training programmes that can be accessed from anywhere in New Zealand. These online programmes offer the flexibility and convenience to learn at their own pace and at a time that suits their schedule.

Multilingual Assistance
We recognize that migrant workers face unique challenges when it comes to workplace health and safety. They may not have a strong command of the local language, making it difficult for them to communicate their needs and concerns. Moreover, they may be unfamiliar with the NZ safety regulations and requirements, putting them at a higher risk of accidents and injuries.
To address these challenges, ABHSEN is committed to providing multilingual assistance to migrant workers. We offer support in a variety of languages to ensure that language barriers do not prevent anyone from accessing the information and support they need to stay safe on the job. This support includes training on workplace health and safety practices, guidance on how to report incidents and accidents, and access to resources to help workers stay informed and prepared.
Our multilingual assistance is provided by a team of qualified and experienced professionals who are trained to work with migrant workers. They understand the unique challenges faced by migrant workers and are committed to providing the support and assistance necessary to create a safer, more inclusive workplace for all.
